How do I change my personal information with society?

• Click the following link to get to the society web site.  <www.ashrae.org>
• Log into the members only section at the left of the page.
• Click on Address and Grade change at the top right of the next page.
• Click Address at the top of the next page.
• Fill out the information by fields and press the send to ASHRAE button at the bottom.

How do I get an ASHRAE e-mail alias?

• Click the following link to get to the society web site.  <www.ashrae.org>
• In the members section click the ASHRAE E-mail Aliases link at the bottom left.
• Log in with your member and pin number.
• Click Add to add an alias.
• Follow the screen directions.
• Check your regular e-mail and send back confirmation e-mail from ASHRAE society.
• Best of all, it's free.

What is an ASHRAE e-mail alias?

An ASHRAE e-mail alias is a forwarding system for your e-mail.  ASHRAE assigns you an e-mail address, such as member@ashrae.mail.com, and you specify what existing address you want the mail forwarded to.  The benefit is that you can change the forwarding address at one location, ASHRAE's web site, and you don't have to update friends and colleagues of your new e-mail address.

How do I become an ASHRAE member?

To be a member of the ASHRAE San Joaquin chapter you must first be a member with ASHRAE society.  For more information on becoming a society member and it's benefits, please visit their site at http://www.ashrae.org Society dues are $130.00 per year and there is an $85.00 application fee.  Cost to be a chapter member is $35.00.  Contact our membership promotion chair at membership@sjvashrae.org with any questions or problems of becoming an ASHRAE member.
